Homair Vacances places great importance on the trust you show us when you browse our site and book a mobile home stay. We take great care to protect your personal data and comply with regulations relating to privacy and the processing of personal data.

When you visit and use our site, you accept our personal data protection policy. When this charter mentions the terms “Homair Vacances”, “We”, “Our” or “Us”, they refer to the company Homair Vacances, registered with the Aix-en-Provence Trade and Companies Register under number 484 881 917, 570 Avenue du Club Hippique – Le Derby – 13097 Aix-en-Provence cedex 02, which is responsible for information about you, in accordance with this Personal Data Protection Charter. As such, we have declared the processing of personal data collected on the Site to the CNIL under number 1071348.

Why do we process this data?

To conduct marketing activities to offer you products or services that may interest you.

3.1 With your consent

When you have given your consent, we may share information about you as described at the time of your consent.

3.2 Compliance with law, response to legal requests, prevention of harm and protection of our rights

Homair Vacances may disclose your information to courts, government authorities or law enforcement agencies or to authorized third parties, if required or permitted by law, or if such disclosure is reasonably deemed necessary.

3.3 Service providers

Homair Vacances uses various third-party service providers to help us provide services related to the site. Service providers may be located within the European Economic Area (“EEA”) or outside it. In particular, our service providers are based in Europe.

For example, service providers may help us:

  • verify your identity
  • verify information against public databases
  • perform product development, maintenance and debugging
  • enable the provision of Homair Vacances Services via third-party sites and software tools (e.g. through integration with our APIs)
  • provide customer service, advertising services.

These service providers have limited access to your information in connection with performing these tasks on our behalf and have a contractual obligation to protect it and use it only for the purposes for which it was disclosed and in accordance with this Personal Data Protection Charter.

3.4 Group, subsidiaries and affiliated companies

To enable us to or help us provide the Site, we may share your information, including your personal information, within our group of companies (composed of financial and non-financial entities), enjoying common ownership or joint control.

Sharing with European Camping Group (ECG), group subsidiaries and partner campsites. All or part of your information may be shared with ECG, group subsidiaries or partner campsites when you create your customer account or when you book a stay. The information shared may include in these circumstances:

  • your last name, first name, email address, postal address, title, date of birth and telephone number,
  • information relating to your stay,

3.5 Social media sites

Where permitted under applicable law, we may use certain limited personal information about you, such as your email address, to share with social media sites, such as Meta or Google, to generate leads, drive traffic to our websites or otherwise promote our products and services or the Site. These processing activities serve to undertake marketing activities to offer you products or services that may interest you.

The social media sites with which we may share your personal data are neither controlled nor monitored by Homair Vacances. Therefore, any questions about how your social media site service provider processes your personal data should be addressed to that provider.

Please note that you can at any time request Homair Vacances to stop processing your data for these direct marketing purposes by sending an email to dpo@homair.com.

3.7 Business transfers

If Homair Vacances undertakes or is involved in a merger, acquisition, restructuring, asset sale or bankruptcy or insolvency proceeding, it may sell, transfer or share all or part of its assets, including your information in connection with such transaction or in anticipation of such transaction (e.g., customer due diligence). In this case, we will inform you before your personal data is transferred and becomes subject to another personal data protection charter.

4.1 Analysis of your communications

We may review, scan or analyze your communications exchanged via the Site for risk assessment, regulatory compliance, investigation, product development, research and user support purposes. In some cases, we may also scan, review or analyze messages for debugging, improvement and extension of our product offering. We use automated methods to the extent possible. However, we may sometimes need to manually review certain communications as part of user support or to evaluate and improve the functionality of these automated tools. We will not review, scan or analyze your communications to send you third-party marketing messages, and we will not sell reviews or analyses of these communications.

The Site may contain links to third-party services or websites, such as third-party integrations, co-branded services, or third-party branded services. Homair Vacances does not own or control these third-party Partners and when you interact with them, you may provide information directly to the third-party Partner, to Homair Vacances or to both.   1. YOUR RIGHTS

You may exercise any right described in this section with your Homair Vacances Data Controller designated as competent by this Personal Data Protection Charter, by sending an email to dpo@homair.com. Please note that we may ask you to verify your identity before taking further action on your request.

6.1 Correction of inaccurate or incomplete information

You have the right to ask us to correct inaccurate or incomplete personal information about you.

6.2 Data retention and deletion

In general, we retain your personal information for as long as necessary to perform the agreement between you and us and to comply with our legal obligations. If you no longer want us to use your information to provide you with the Site’s services, you can ask us to delete your personal information and close your Homair Vacances account. Please note that if you request deletion of your personal information:

  • We may retain certain of your personal information necessary for our legitimate business interests, such as improving security. For example, if we suspend a Homair Vacances account for security reasons, we may retain certain information from that account to prevent that Customer from opening a new Homair Vacances account in the future.
  • We may retain and use your personal information to the extent necessary to comply with our legal obligations. For example, Homair Vacances may retain certain of your information for tax, legal reporting and audit obligations.
  • Because we maintain the Site to protect it from accidental or malicious loss and destruction, residual copies of your personal information may not be removed from our backup systems for a limited period of time.

Browsing data is retained for a maximum period of 13 months.

Data relating to prospects is retained for a maximum period of 3 years from the last contact you initiated with Homair Vacances.

Information allowing us to take into account the rights of data subjects to object to receiving commercial prospecting is retained for a maximum period of 3 years from the exercise of this right.

6.3 Withdrawal of consent and limitation of processing

If you have given your consent to the processing of your personal information by Homair Vacances, you can withdraw your consent at any time by changing your account settings or by sending a communication to Homair Vacances specifying the consent you are withdrawing.

If your personal information is processed for direct marketing purposes, you can at any time request Homair Vacances to stop processing your data for these direct marketing purposes by sending an email to dpo@homair.com.

  1. CHANGES TO THIS CHARTER

Homair Vacances reserves the right to make any changes to this Personal Data Protection Charter at any time, in accordance with this clause. If we make a change to this Personal Data Protection Charter, we will post the new version on the Site and update the “Last updated” date at the top of this Personal Data Protection Charter.

We will also inform you of the change by email at least thirty (30) days before its effective date.

If you do not agree with the terms of the new Personal Data Protection Charter, you can delete your account.

If you do not delete your account before the effective date of the new Personal Data Protection Charter, continued access to and use of the site will constitute acceptance of the revised Personal Data Protection Charter.
